海南海药同类新药被罗氏83亿元美金收购

海南海药与中南大学合作研发的重磅抗癌新药“氟非尼酮”,目前已进入临床阶段。该药是以治疗器官纤维化相关适应症为目标的国家一类新药。针对于治疗及预防多种肝病、肾病引起的纤维化具有良好的临床治疗效果。

目前,世界上治疗器官纤维化的相似药品,上市的仅有美国InterMune生物制药公司生产的“吡非尼酮(pirfenidone)”。而近日世界航母级的医药企业罗氏制药(Roche)为了获得该药品的所有权,斥巨资83亿美元,宣布对InterMune生物制药公司进行协议收购。据美媒报道,InterMune生物制药公司是一家长期专注于研发治疗“特发型肺部纤维变性”疾病药品的公司,主打产品吡非尼酮作为治疗特发性肺纤维化(IPF)的药物,早前在欧洲和加拿大获得批准,目前正在美国进行临床试验,等待监管当局的审批。InterMune制药公司2014年上半年收入6601万美元,由于吡非尼酮尚未进入大规模销售阶段,半年报亏损近1.2亿美元。此次罗氏斥巨资83亿美元进行四年来最大规模的并购,显然是极其看好其“吡非尼酮”未来在全球治疗器官纤维化市场上巨大的成长空间。据美国业内分析师预测,该药品2019年市场销售额将超过10亿元美金,全球市场持续成长空间巨大。

据国内抗癌领域知名专家表示,吡非尼酮的问世填补了世界治疗器官纤维化的空白,大幅提升了肺癌晚期患者的存活率。而海南海药研发的“氟非尼酮”针对治疗肝、肾纤维化,其研发难度和治疗水平更高。未来该药品如果成功通过临床试验的话,将对治疗多种器官纤维化均产生明显疗效。甚至很有可能成为中国原研药竞争国际医药市场的重磅品种。

据国内医药行业资深证券分析师表示,海南海药的氟非尼酮目前虽然处于临床初期,但是目前国内由于召集患者进行测试相对容易,因此一至三期临床试验同时进行将大幅缩短该药品投放市场的时间。近期,海南海药二级市场股价大幅上涨创出历史新高,一方面和公司传统医药业务净利润大幅增长有关,另一方面,可能国内部分先知先觉的资深投资者关注到了罗氏医药此次的并购,因而大笔买入海南海药所致。目前,海南海药总市值75亿元左右,尚不及罗氏此次并购金额的15%,氟非尼酮未来潜在的爆发成长性尚未完全体现在海南海药的估值水平中。
