In order to contribute to maintain and promote public health through qualitative improvement of pharmaceutical excipients, IPEC Japan is in action of cooperating in international harmonization of standards and overall maintenance of official standards; carrying out investigation project on preparation of safety assessment guide; updating and promoting of self-imposed GMP; and adjusting of opinions from industry to cope with regulations under proposal, in relation to excipients.
